Care Magnet — Care for your aquarium

The Care Magnet concept was the signature innovation of 2014 in the field of window pane cleaner design. It features an ergonomic handle and special plastic blades made of wear-resistant, high-performance plastic.

Why care?

• The inner magnet is more than 3 mm (.2") away from the aquarium, preventing the jamming of aquarium sand and significantly reducing the risk of glass damage.
• Two plastic blades remove algae more effectively than a flat cleaning surface—almost as good as a sharp metal blade.
• Blade lifespan ranges from several months to approximately one year.
• Low flow resistance during cleaning, combined with high magnetic coupling, makes magnet separation nearly impossible.

Special Notes:

• The large blade can be modified with the included stainless steel blade for tougher algae, such as older deposits or thick calcareous algae.
• NOT recommended for ACRYLIC aquariums. If attempting use at your own risk:
  1. Use only the short blades (gentler).
  2. Avoid using the Care Booster on the outside (natural felt is gentler).
  3. Ensure the felt is free of particles to prevent scratches.

Important Application Note:
The Care Magnet is designed to reduce scratches by maintaining distance from the glass surface and using special blade materials. However, scratches can occur due to particles like sand or dust. Before each use, ensure the contact surfaces of the cleaner and glass are completely free of contaminants. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by improper use or contaminated surfaces.

With Care Booster

The Care Booster gives the 2020 Care Magnet upgrade a new "boost."

• Includes two floats with 4 retaining clips to ensure the inner cleaning magnet floats to the surface if it detaches from the outer magnet.
• Can also be used as a grip aid for the outer magnet.

With coloured end caps

The colored end caps allow aquarists to visually adapt the aquarium pane cleaner to various aquarium landscapes:

• Blue end cap: Perfect for marine scenarios.
• Green end cap: Ideal for freshwater aquariums.
• Black and white end caps: Elegant options for nano aquariums or other setups.

• Plastic blades with round edges: Ensure smooth transitions at aquarium edges without damaging silicone joints.
• Algae removal: Rolls up algae completely, turning the algae film into food for fish rather than distributing it as green dust.
• Hand scraper functionality: Can also be used as a scraper for manual cleaning.

Patented Principle

The patented design uses plastic blades of varying lengths to create different application pressures:

• Narrow blade: Removes tightly attached algae.
• Wide blade: Enables large-scale algae removal.
