THE CONTINUUM ADVANTAGE

Basis Chaeto Grow is a high-quality, bio-available, wide-range, invertebrate-safe multi-nutrient fertilizer designed for chaetomorpha and other macro algae. It provides all the essential nutrients that macro algae require for growth, except phosphorus and nitrogen.

  • For very rapid plant growth in heavily planted aquariums or aquariums with very light fish loads, nitrogen or phosphorus may be necessary.
  • If your aquarium requires these nutrients for accelerated chaeto growth, you can use ULNS Nitro or ULNS Phos simultaneously with Basis Chaeto Grow.

Continuum products are formulated without dangerous polycycloglutaracetal or glutaraldehyde, ensuring safety and reliability.

USE IN AQUARIUM KEEPING

To maximize the effectiveness of Basis Chaeto Grow and promote a thriving ecosystem:

  • Simultaneous use of beneficial products:

    • Combine with Bacter•Gen M or Bacter•Clean M to establish and sustain proper microorganisms and recycle aquarium nutrients.
    • Use Reef Micro Fuel or Reef Bio Pellet•Fuel to supply additional carbon for heavy chaeto growth.
  • Lighting:

    • Growth of all photosynthetic organisms requires strong lighting with the proper spectrum.
    • Consult your lighting supplier for advice on the best type of light and photo periods for the algae you are growing.
    • Ensure you ask plenty of questions to select the optimal lighting system for your aquarium.

DIRECTIONS AND PROTOCOL

  • Shake well prior to use.
  • Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 20 US-gallons (76 L) of reef aquarium water twice per week.
  • Dosage can be split and applied more frequently if desired.

Expert Use

For ULNS aquariums and heavily loaded aquariums, higher dosages may be required to maintain low phosphate and nitrate levels.

  • Experienced aquarists may add 1 capful (5 ml) per 20 US-gallons (76 L) 3 or 4 times per week, depending on chaeto density and growth rate.
